I realize this will seem odd to some…but I’m very excited to learn that there is going to be an Aldi’s in Winter Garden, Florida.  We drove by the intersection of West Colonial (SR-50) and Park Street today and saw the “Coming Soon” sign in the window of the old Publix store.

For those that don’t know, Aldi is a deeply discounted grocery store.  I believe most everything they carry is their own ‘store brand’ merchandise — but it’s good quality food that is much less expensive than other stores, including Wal-Mart.  YEAH!!
