Yesterday I checked the mail and I’ve received my Akoha cards.  Akoha is a new online “Play it forward” game.  I like the concept of the game, so I was excited to sign up while the company is still in it’s beta period.  After I opened the cards, I wanted to go out and play one…but I realized that last night I was already committed to painting our living room with my wife. :-(  Oh well, maybe today I will get an opportunity to go out into the real world!

I do have one complaint about the current Akoha “missions” as they are called…four of the 24 cards have to deal with “sending drinks” or “going out for drinks.”  As a person who does not believe in drinking alcohol, I feel these are a waste.  I do like the fact that you can print new missions from the Akoha website, but the cards that are printed are from our home printer — not the nice heavy card stock and in full color like the “official” cards.
