Well, I had a slight 4-wheeler accident on Saturday. The 4-wheeler went down and to the left, I went up and to the right. Stupid Newton and his laws of gravity! Anyway I can be thankful that my face broke the fall — and in turn, I broke my nose.

I was having some back pain immediately after being thrown from the 4-wheeler, so the paramedics sent me to Orlando Regional Health Center’s trauma Center via Air Care. Let me just say I’m REALLY glad we have good health insurance at work, because I know that seven-minute helicopter ride had to cost a pretty penny.

X-Rays and CAT scans later, the doctor said that I just twisted my back, and that the discomfort would last for a few days. Thankfully nothing was broken or out-of-place down there.

Now I’m re-cooping. I’m liking the drugs they gave me for the pain!
