Well I have arrived in Australia…I had my doubts if I would make it or not. The trip from Orlando to LA was uneventful.  However, due to maintenance issues, my fellow passengers and I stood in the Qantas ticket queue for approximately five hours.  Finally the airline made the decision to give us hotel vouchers for the night, so I had an unexpected stay over at the Raddison Hotel LAX…at least for a few hours.

That’s all behind now, so all seems well.  I’m checked into the hotel and I hope I don’t have too much problem with jet lag tomorrow morning. (I didn’t sleep on the 14 hour flight — so I’m expecting to crash hard tonight).
